Real estate investment company Fortuitous Partners has advanced a residential and community advancement project that is being developed alongside Rhode Island FC’s Centreville Bank Stadium.
The project, named Tidewater Landing, aims to address Rhode Island’s housing needs with the next phase claimed to deliver market rate and affordable housing, public amenities, and commercial spaces.
“We are incredibly proud to see this vision for the riverfront and Tidewater Landing continue to come to life,” said managing partner at Fortuitous Partners, Dan Kroeber.
“This next phase of the development will not only support the new Centreville Bank Stadium, but also create a vibrant, connected community where residents, visitors, and fans can live, work, and enjoy everything Pawtucket’s riverfront has to offer.”
Tidewater Landing is due to feature two residential buildings on both sides of the Seekonk River in Pawtucket.
The building on the east side is expected to feature approximately 300 units while the west side building is planned to hold around 250.
The west side structure will also front the new stadium plaza and riverfront with the goal of creating a hub that enhances game-day experience and year-round community engagement.
The Centreville Bank Stadium, which received its name earlier this month, is set to open in May.
The stadium will be 100% electric, have a capacity of more than 10,500, and be home to USL Championship team Rhode Island FC.
Rhode Island FC’s first match at the stadium is scheduled for May 3 against San Antonio FC, with a sellout crowd anticipated.
Work officially commenced on the project back in August 2022 after Fortuitous Partners reached an agreement with the state and the City of Pawtucket.
“Together with the new Centreville Bank Stadium, the home of Rhode Island FC, these residential and community projects reflect a bold vision for the future of Pawtucket,” read a Fortuitous Partners statement.
“The Stadium is expected to bring community engagement, local pride, and economic growth to the area, and this development will play a vital role in enhancing quality of life for residents and visitors.”
