Turin’s Inalpi Arena is due to stage the European Finals of the Kings League on May 22 which will see Italian, Spanish, and French victors emerge.

The venue has a maximum capacity of 16,600 and tickets are currently available for between €22 (£18/$25) and €65.

The Kings League is a series of seven-a-side football competitions which was established in 2022 by former player Gerard Piqué.

“Three European teams will be crowned champions in a single day and in a single location: an unprecedented event that promises excitement, adrenaline and pure spectacle,” read a Kings League statement.

“The city of Turin is thus preparing to become the nerve centre of the Kings League, welcoming fans, enthusiasts and the curious from all over Europe.”

A similar format is also due to be employed for the Queens League, the female version of the competition.

The champions of the Spanish and Americas leagues will face each other at the Luis Pirata Fuente Stadium in the Mexican city of Boca del Río.

The Inalpi Arena was built in 2005 for the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games that were staged a year later.

It is the largest indoor sporting venue in Italy and cost €87m (£74.5m/$98.8m) to construct.
