Vinai Venkatesham is set to join Tottenham Hotspur as chief executive in the summer.
He previously served in the same role at Spurs’ local rivals Arsenal after also working on the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games as a non-executive director of the British Olympic Association.
“The club has experienced significant growth in recent years, making it crucial to expand our executive management,” said Tottenham’s executive chairman, Daniel Levy.
“I have known Vinai for many years, having worked together in the Premier League and the ECA. I am personally delighted that he has agreed to join our Board as we build for success.”
Real Betis has hired a new business director in the form of Emilio García Duarte, who comes from the NBA where he has spent the last 15 years of his career.
Within the basketball organisation, he was director of sponsorship for Europe for four years before moving to New York as head of marketing for Latin America.
The addition of García Duarte comes amid the remodelling of the Benito Villamarín Stadium which the club says “will be crucial in generating new revenue”.
Olaf Gueldner has been appointed as the first ever chief customer officer of Scottish Rugby in what has been described as a significant step towards accelerating commercial growth and securing a sustainable future.
Gueldner will oversee the governing body’s commercial, brand, marketing, digital, and content strategies.
He has previously held senior marketing leadership roles at The Jockey Club and the Goodwood Group.
Nick Vaerewyck has been promoted to senior vice-president of programming at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena, which is operated by Oak View Group (OVG).
He will lead in the strategic planning of content development for OVG in the Pacific Northwest as well as overseeing programming goals and content development at the 18,300-capacity venue.
Andrea Grancini has been appointed chief executive of TicketOne, replacing Stefano Lionetti who will remain on the board.

She joins from Bay FC where she served as chief operating officer for the National Women’s Soccer League’s 14th expansion franchise.
The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) has appointed Bart Vermoesen as its new event director.
Vermoesen’s responsibilities will include strategic event development, stakeholder engagement, and overseeing the delivery of all ITTF events.
