Championship club Swansea City has announced Tom Gorringe as its new chief executive.

Gorringe (pictured) joined the club as chief operating officer at the start of the year. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the club.

Gorringe has worked across English football’s top four divisions and was part of the leadership team at Brighton & Hove Albion when the club was promoted to the Premier League in 2017. He also served as chief executive of Bristol Rovers.

Serie A club AC Milan has appointed Francesca Montini as its chief brand officer.

Montini will report directly to chief executive Giorgio Furlani and will oversee the club’s marketing, branding, communication, and content and digital departments. She previously served as chief communications officer at Ferrari.

Datin Anita Azrina Abdul Aziz has made history by becoming the first woman to be appointed as chair of the Malaysia Stadium Corporation.

She will replace Datuk Hans Isaac, who had served as chairman since 2023, and will serve a two-year term.

Ticketing company Seat Unique has promoted Victoria Oakley to director of special projects.

Oakley previously served as head of creative. In her new role, she will lead creative projects aimed at growing Seat Unique’s profile and will shift her department into ‘stealth mode’ for the next six months.

Oakley joined Seat Unique in 2019 as a graphic designer. As head of creative, she oversaw the rollout of the Seat Unique Club at venues such as Co-op Live, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and the Monza F1 circuit.

AEG Presents has announced the appointment of Lisa Mart to the newly created position of regional general manager of Indigo at The O2 and the Watford Colosseum.

Mart has over 15 years of experience across the live events and venue industry and will be responsible for overseeing the commercial and operational performances of both venues. She will be based in London and will report to Stuart Dorn, group venues operations director of AEG Presents UK.

Mart has spent the past 13 years with ATG Entertainment. The appointment comes as AEG Presents UK continues to grow its mid-size venue portfolio with the Watford Colosseum, which is set to reopen in the autumn following a multi-million-pound refurbishment.
