DHL Express has been made an official partner of the newly opened Kai Tak Sports Park in order to support the staging of international, large-scale sports and entertainment events at the Hong Kong venue.
The collaboration also aims to enhance DHL’s brand visibility to audiences in the territory and abroad in order to contribute to the growth of Hong Kong’s events economy.
“We are delighted that DHL Express is our official partner,” said Kai Tak Sports Park chief executive John Sharkey.
“We look forward to enhancing the experience of our world-class mega events together.
“With KTSP as Hong Kong’s home venue, we are committed to bringing more international sports, cultural, and entertainment events to Hong Kong, further transforming the city into an event capital and creating new growth opportunities.”
One of the biggest events this year for Kai Tak Sports Park is Coldplay’s Music Of The Spheres World Tour which is set to visit the 50,000-seat Kai Tak Stadium from April 8-12.
DHL is also the official logistics partner for the band and is helping to reduce the tour’s transport emissions.

Kai Tak Sports Park opened at the beginning of this month with a celebratory event that saw 33,600 people attend.
The complex features the Kai Tak Stadium as well as the 10,000-capacity Kai Tak Arena and 5,000-capacity Youth Sports Ground.
In addition to DHL Express, it has also agreed sponsorship deals with CTF Life, Cathay, and HSBC.
