Formula 1 has made further moves to benefit from its investment in the Las Vegas Grand Prix by announcing plans for North America’s “largest and most dynamic” F1 attraction.
Launching on March 29 in partnership with exhibition promoter Round Room Live, the destination will be set within the 39-acre Grand Prix Plaza in Las Vegas, featuring more than 100,000 square feet of entertainment throughout most of the year across three ticketed F1 attractions.
The venture means Grand Prix Plaza, home to the Las Vegas Grand Prix Pit Building, will open to the public for the first time. The three attractions are as follows:
- F1 X – Priced from $79 (£63/€76) for adults, and $59 for locals, the interactive Formula 1 experience offers guests a tech-driven journey through a cutting-edge 4D exhibition with artifacts, iconic F1 cars and hands-on activities where visitors can design their own virtual F1 car and put it to the test on the virtual track.

- F1 Drive – Priced from $37 for adults, and $30 for locals, this official F1 karting attraction takes place on part of the Las Vegas Strip Circuit grid where guests can race high-performance karts with F1-inspired features including an LED steering wheel display and DRS technology.

- F1 Hub – Priced from $26.50 for adults, the Hub is the heart of Grand Prix Plaza and features F1 Sims, a flagship F1 store and elevated food and beverage offerings.

Grand Prix Plaza will open Sunday to Thursday from 10am to 10pm local time, and 10am to midnight Friday and Saturday. Flexible event spaces with access to these attractions are available across the building’s three levels and rooftop, including three new private event spaces – Turn 1 Lounge, Cool Down Room and GPP Garage – that will be available to rent year-round.
The attraction will close for the season in late summer to prepare for the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix, which is this year scheduled from November 20-22, with a future reopening date to be announced.
After announcing plans for a grand prix on the iconic Las Vegas Strip back in March 2022, and having previously held a race in 1981 and 1982, Vegas returned to the F1 calendar in 2023, with the event marking a distinct change in how Formula 1 and parent company, Liberty Media, staged a race.
The two parties work together to promote the Las Vegas GP in partnership with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, therefore having an inherent investment in the event’s success, or failure.

“Grand Prix Plaza represents a significant investment in the future of Formula 1 in Las Vegas,” said Emily Prazer, president and CEO of Las Vegas Grand Prix and chief commercial officer for Formula 1.
“These new attractions will offer unprecedented access to F1, giving many fans their first up-close look at a Formula 1 car before stepping into a racing simulator or even karting on a portion of the Las Vegas Strip Circuit.
“As part of our steadfast commitment to Las Vegas, we are thrilled to offer significantly discounted pricing to locals so that Grand Prix Plaza is an easily accessible community asset all year long. Grand Prix Plaza is one of the jewels of F1 in North America, and we know it will provide access and experiences that will grow the sport’s fan base.”
Jonathan Linden, co-CEO of Round Room Live and producer of the Formula 1 Exhibition, added: “These new experiences are as close to an F1 race one can get without being a professional driver.
“This is the largest-scale F1 exhibition we’ve debuted in North America, and there was no better place to do it than the home of the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or new to the grid, this is an inside look at what makes F1 a global phenomenon – with plenty of thrills along the way.”
