The Tennessee Titans have announced that the ‘Mosh Pit’, a dedicated section at the new Nissan Stadium exclusively for diehard fans, has officially sold out, while Everton Stadium’s Everton Way is now fully booked.

Initially announced by the NFL franchise last August, the Mosh Pit is intended to be the ultimate fan section of the Titans’ new $2.1bn (£1.69bn/€2.02bn) home located in the East Endzone, surrounding an in-bowl stage for “diehards who bleed two-tone blue”.

To be selected for the Mosh Pit, fans had to submit a video application expressing why they should be chosen for the unique gameday experience. Selected applicants were then invited to Titans House, an experience centre which opened in May showcasing the new Nissan Stadium, to review and purchase seating options in Section 124 of the venue.

“Last fall we set out on a mission to identify the Titans’ most energetic and passionate fans to populate the Mosh Pit at the new Nissan Stadium,” said Titans senior vice-president, Adam Nuse.

“We are proud to announce we have assembled an outrageously enthusiastic pack of diehards to lead the charge in creating an electric gameday atmosphere in the new building. The Mosh Pit aims to be the most exclusive fan section in the stadium, offering fans the opportunity to be right in the heart of the action, exactly where they belong.”

Benefits of being in the Mosh Pit include the exclusive opportunity to purchase specially priced Personal Seat Licences (PSLs) in a dedicated lower-level, endzone section of the new Nissan Stadium; access to the closest seats surrounding the live performance stage; dedicated invitations to annual events; and a complimentary merchandise item every year.

The Titans broke ground on the new Nissan Stadium at the end of February 2024, pledging that the venue will be unlike any other stadium in the world.

The project is being developed on the East Bank in Nashville, across from downtown and on the east side of the current Nissan Stadium campus. Scheduled to open in 2027, the three-year venture will deliver a 60,000-capacity stadium designed to serve as a centrepiece of the East Bank.

Fans secures places on Everton Way

Meanwhile, Everton has announced that all of the 36,000 personalised granite stones that will make up Everton Way at the Premier League club’s new home have now been sold.

The paved walkway has been widened due to popular demand along the entire length of the exterior of the south stand at Everton Stadium, expanding earlier this season from the original plan of 28,000 stones which had sold out in 2023.

The final stones were secured by fans just days after work commenced on the installation, which will be a focal point for visitors to Everton Stadium – featuring personal messages that celebrate Evertonians’ births, marriages, anniversaries and loved ones.

Anyone who has purchased a stone on Everton Way still has an opportunity to purchase a replica stone, which will be presented in a club-branded display box. These replica stones offer an additional memento, along with the option of a personalised A4 presentation certificate of authentication.

For supporters who missed out on the chance to be part of Everton Way, the Merseyside club is offering further opportunities to cement their place at Everton Stadium.

The club’s latest personalisation project, The Everton Fan Wall, offers the opportunity for fans to feature in a wall of ‘originals’, as part of a pictorial mosaic depicting Everton players who have realised unique achievements while representing the club, and those who have truly embodied the Everton spirit on and off the pitch.

Everton is currently counting down to the first test event for its new stadium, as it gears up for full opening ahead of the 2025-26 season. The club last month set out plans for three test events, commencing with an Under-18s friendly fixture on February 17 in front of a capacity of 10,000 spectators.

Everton’s Under-21s will then play a friendly for the second test event in late March or early April, when the capacity will be increased to 25,000. A third test event will be held later in the current season.

The restricted capacities for the events are a requirement of the testing process that will allow Everton to obtain the necessary licence and safety certificates to operate the stadium at full 52,888-seat capacity from when it officially opens later this year.

Everton formally took control of its new home at Bramley-Moore Dock prior to Christmas. The handover came three-and-a-half years after the commencement of the project back in August 2021.
